About Ashley
Wendel, M.A., C.M.C., P.D.C.
Ashley Wendel is the founder and principal of High Agility Healthcare.
As an executive coach, Ashley works with Physician Leaders who are
experiencing a feeling of being "stuck" in their professional lives,
and who want to take that extra step to build their ability to manage
and direct change in themselves and their organizations. She
helps individuals in leadership roles to expertly address the
challenges they face and to develop and implement concrete strategies
to achieve their goals and exceed even their own peformance
expectations.
As an organizational consultant, Ashley works with Physician Executives
who need to find new and innovative ways to drive change within their
complex health organizations. She works together with both
executive and clinical staff to develop new strategies that build
buy-in, accountability and sustainability for critical organizational
initiatives. She helps heallth organizations build their
"agility" competency, and become more responsive, flexible and adaptive
in their response to rapid change.

Ashley's Background and Qualifications:
Ashley is a former
“Big 4” management consultant with a
unique background in both organizational
change and clinical
psychology. She has over 15 years combined
experience.
From her experience in the corporate world consulting with Fortune 100
companies, Ashley has demonstrated skill in utilizing strategic,
effective methodologies to build
workforce involvement and create long-term, sustainable
change.
Utilizing both her backgrounds in clinical psychology (specifically
Behavioral Medicine) and management consulting, Ashley has developed specialized skill in working with
the complexities of healthcare organizations and current mandates for
Physician-Executives. One of her greatest
strengths is developing and executing strategies to promote the true
behavior change that is required for sustainable initiatives.
From her work with numerous Accenture clients, Ashley built specific expertise in
applying strategic communication planning and delivery to
ensure that executive strategy is well-articulated and connected to an
organization’s day-to-day practice. She is highly
skilled at implementing all the critical steps in the change process,
ensuring that impacted individuals see the “big
picture”, understand the imperative and know what it means
for them, and know what is required of them to move toward an
organization's overall goal.
Moreover, Ashley is an expert at moving
people through the stages of change, from initial
awareness to real commitment to the new way of doing things.
She knows that with all of these pieces in place, sustainable change is
achievable. Ashley's key mission is to work with individuals
striving to make this a reality within their own organizations
One-on-one Ashley is a skilled
listener,who easily builds rapport and trust with her
clients. She works sincerely from a place of what is best for
her client, and does not back down from asking the "difficult
questions" or holding individuals accountable for their own
progress. She is a gifted coach and consultant who maximizes results
for her clients.
Academic Education:
Ashley
has a Master’s
Degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in
Behavioral Medicine, from San Diego State University / University of
California, San Diego (Joint Program). Ashley spent
7 years studying and doing freelance work in the area of clinical
diagnostics, neuropsychological testing, quantitative/qualitative
research, teaching, and behavioral interventions in medical settings.
Professional Education:
From
her time with the management consulting firm Accenture, Ashley has over
500 hours of professional training / advanced education in
organizational change management, strategic communication, new process
implementation, leadership development, culture change, project
management, and human performance intervention design and development.
To further her love of working with individuals in health care and to
build on her skills, Ashley pursued and became a Certified Physician Development
Coach, with studies done via the Physician Coaching
Institute (Francine Gaillour, M.D., USA). She is also a Certified Master Coach,
holding a Graduate Certificate of Applied Coaching from the Behavioral
Coaching Institute, based out of the U.K (Skiffington and Zeus).

Since
2004 Ashley has been involved with , and currently acts as the Vice President of the Board
for, a San Diego-based healthcare non-profit organization The
Behavioral Diabetes Institute. She also is an
